American Mahogany Rocking Chair on Springs, Beautiful Aesthetic c.1890
Charming American mahogany rocking chair featuring:
Worn but beautiful upholstery featuring flowers and pagodas. Finished with a gold braided trim.
A beautifully designed frame which is mounted on springs and the feet sit on castors.
Padded seat rests, also finished with a braided cord.
Slightly decorative detailing on the frame top of the backrest.
A wonderful piece full of charm and character.

101cm h / Seat height 42cm / 44cm Seat width / Seat depth
50cm / W 57 / 80cm d
Condition: This is in decent condition for its age however there is significant wear and marks on the upholstery. We try our best to be as transparent as possible when describing our antique pieces. However do keep in mind that most pieces are often up to a century old and will have traces of age and wear. We will include photographs of anything with significant damage or wear.
